On March 22, a delegation consisting of 22 students from the University of West Georgia paid a visit to SIFT. The delegation was headed by Prof. Salil Talpade and Prof. Richard from the Department of Marketing and Real Estate. On the SIFT part, Prof. Wen Jiannong, Dean of the Management School and Associate Prof. Yan Hanyan, Director of the Business Administration Department were at the meeting with the U.S. delegates. Associate Prof. Duan Mingming from the Management School attended the exchange activities.
In accordance with the cooperative agreement, the two sides exchanged views on faculty exchange and had a detailed discussion on cooperation at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Consensus was reached regarding plans for further cooperation. Exchange activities between the students from the University of West Georgia and graduates and MBA students from SIFT were conducted and thus deepened the understanding between the two universities.
