On 14-16 March 2012, SIFT hosted a delegation of four professors and 33 students from Albany Law School led by Dean Patricia Salkin. SIFT School of Law welcomed the delegation from the US and exchanged gifts with them.
SIFT Associate Professors Liu Dan, Huang Jie and Wang Cheng each delivered an academic lecture focusing on the Chinese commercial law system, the Chinese judicial system, and Sino-Western business negotiations to the Albany Law delegation during its visit. Accompanied by SIFT law school faculty members, the Albany Law delegation visited the Shanghai Maritime Court, the Songjiang District Court, the Shanghai WTO Affairs Consultation Center, O’Melveny & Myers LLP Shanghai Office, Paul Hastings LLP Shanghai Office, and Shanghai Volkswagen Automotive Co. Ltd.
